Mairéad’s background is as diverse as the people she likes to help: she has worked in fast-paced community outpatient clinics, schools, and private settings. Each case is different and handled in a unique way. Mairéad uses a combination of psycho dynamic and evidence based approaches. She has experience in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, chronic illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, among other diagnoses. Mairéad has created and facilitated workshops for teachers, parents, and colleagues alike. She has a passion for educating others on a variety of topics related to mental health, as she has found that awareness brings healing.
